Just in time for the summer holidays, Greece is dropping all its Covid travel restrictions.

The decision to lift the entry rules was announced by the Minister of Health of Greece, Thanos Plevris on Wednesday, April 13th.

He said that starting from 2 May, no tourists will need to show vaccine passports, test results or any other pandemic-related documents to enter the country.

In addition, it has been noted that domestic COVID-19 restrictions will also be dropped. This means that travellers will be permitted entry to bars, cafes, restaurants, and other venues without being required to hold valid COVID-19 proof. Masks will no longer be mandatory from 2 May as well.
